Sort of like secular jews. I a christian just broken up with my gfI hope she can beleieve in Christ, but then after 8 months, I just feel she steperate me from God.
Our kids go to church with her and I even like to go to my kids programs at their church. Like it's a tangible thing he must practice on a daily basis to keep together.
Wow, that was a bit mind boggling to say the christian. We cannot see the bigger picture, we do not know His plans. I get it that you have strong feelings toward this man. Ultamitely this led me to becoming an Atheist, initially quite strident a la Dawkins et al.
I needed this reminder…God IS in control. Her parents preacher had christian retired and so she wanted to use the new preacher, with whom she went to high school.
If you are headed to heaven, what is the purpose of life on earth? Do you sometimes forget and start worshipping? I guess love doesn't conquer all.
All the zealous flame has burned out of the institutions of Catholicism. God in His mercy, had another plan for me. I was christened but became more atheist as I read the Bible.
I attend a medium church now with lots of young single Christians, but there are maybe beautiful Christian girls to 10 Christian, God-loving, Bible-believing guys. I think Paul was advising against commitments to non-believers where the believer is subservient to the will of the non-believer.
He can read me like a book and trusts me beyond belief. To discuss the issue christian dating marriage their partner if they believe that they are on the road to a godless afterlife I guess I understand.
